| C. M. O. Rasmussen et al. 2012 | Shell small, ventri-biconvex in profile and longer than wide. Dorsal valve strongly resupinate with bilobate outline. Cardinal angles obtuse; maximum width almost at anterior margin; anterior commissure strongly plicate. Ventral valve evenly convex with small depression medianly in the umbonal region posterior to lobation. Interarea high and strongly apsacline. Delthyrium long, triangular and relatively narrow. Dorsal valve flat to weakly concave at umbonal zone, but becoming strongly concave towards anterior commissure; sulcus deeper at the anterior margin.
Interarea low, flat and weakly anacline; notothyrium open and relatively wide. Ornamentation parvicostellate. Internally, a dorsal median septum and a thick, rod-like cardinal process, are only preserved |
