Leptaena rara
Taxonomy
Turgenostrophia rara was named by Alekseeva and Erlanger (1983). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Silurian brachiopods of North-West Mongolia, Yamatu-Gol River, which is in a Wenlock/Ludlow marine limestone/shale in Mongolia.
It was recombined as Leptaena rara by Williams et al. (2000).
