Kionoceras coralliforme
Taxonomy
Orthoceras coralliformis was named by M'Coy (1846) [Lectotypes designaged by Evans (1994).]. Its type specimen is F5352, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Tullyconnor, Leenane (=Leenaun), which is in a Telychian marine horizon in the Kilbride Formation of Ireland.
