Trionyx gilbentuensis
Taxonomy
Trionyx gilbentuensis was named by Danilov et al. (2014). Its type specimen is ZIN PH T/M46-2, a carapace (incomplete left hyo- and hypoplastra), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Gilbentu, which is in a Campanian/Campanian terrestrial horizon in the Baruungoyot Formation of Mongolia.
