Taxonomy
Uskatocoleus uralensis was named by Ponomarenko (2013). Its type specimen is PIN 5276/1, an elytra, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Babintsevo (PIN collection 5276), which is in a Wuchiapingian fluvial siltstone in the Vyazovka Formation of the Russian Federation.
