Cherninia denwai
Taxonomy
Parotosuchus denwai was named by Mukherjee and Sengupta (1998). Its type specimen is ISI A 54, a skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is 1.5 km E of Purtala, which is in an Anisian terrestrial horizon in the Denwa Formation of India.
It was recombined as Cherninia denwai by Damiani (2001).
