Tribodus limae
Taxonomy
Tribodus limae was named by Brito and Ferreira (1989). It is not extant. Its type specimen is GP/2T-2 IG-USP, a partial skeleton (complete fish lacking the caudal fin). Its type locality is Chapada do Araripe [Romualdo Fm.] (general), which is in an Aptian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal shale in the Romualdo Formation of Brazil. It is the type species of Tribodus.
