Palaeorutilus papyraceus
Taxonomy
Cyprinus papyraceus was named by Bronn (1828). It is a mold. Its type locality is Rott, which is in a MP 30 lacustrine - small shale in Germany.
It was recombined as Leuciscus papyraceus by Agassiz (1832), Agassiz (1835), Agassiz (1839); it was recombined as Palaeorutilus papyraceus by Gaudant (1988); it was recombined as Palaeoleuciscus papyraceus by Gaudant (1996).
