Aokiichthys toriyamai
Taxonomy
Aokiichthys toriyamai was named by Yabumoto (1994). Its type specimen is KMNH VP 100,160, a skeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is First formation (TO-1), which is in a Neocomian terrestrial conglomerate/shale in the First Formation of Japan. It is the type species of Aokiichthys.
