Wantzosaurus elongatus
Taxonomy
Wantzosaurus elongatus was named by Lehman (1961). Its type specimen is MNHN MAE3030, a partial skull (Mould of the skull roof with parts of the occiput, mandibles and palate), and it is a mold. Its type locality is Madiromiary, which is in an Induan/Smithian deltaic siliciclastic in the Middle Sakamena Formation of Madagascar. It is the type species of Wantzosaurus.
