Lyrocephaliscus euri
Taxonomy
Lyrocephalus euri was named by Wiman (1914). Its type specimen is PIU U.1, a skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Mountain north of Mt. Sture, which is in a Smithian marine shale in the Kongressfjellet Formation of Svalbard and Jan Mayen. It is the type species of Lyrocephaliscus, Lyrocephalus.
It was recombined as Lyrocephaliscus euri by Schoch and Milner (2000).
