Platystega depressa
Taxonomy
Platystega depressa was named by Wiman (1914). Its type specimen is PIU U.16, a skull, and it is a mold. Its type locality is Mt. Andersson, which is in a Smithian marine shale in the Kongressfjellet Formation of Svalbard and Jan Mayen. It is the type species of Platystega.
