Angulotreta was named by Palmer (1954) [Sepkoski's age data: Cm uMid Cm Fran-u]. It is not extant. Its type is Angulotreta triangularis.
It was assigned to Acrotretidae by Williams et al. (2000); and to Acrotretida by Sepkoski (2002).
