Kataria anisodonta
Taxonomy
Kataria anisodonta was named by Scanferla et al. (2013). Its type specimen is MHNC 13323, a partial skull (articulated incomplete skull), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Tiupampa site 1, the “quarry”, which is in a Danian terrestrial horizon in the Santa Lucía Formation of Bolivia. It is the type species of Kataria.
