Peltostega erici
Taxonomy
Peltostega erici was named by Wiman (1916). Its type specimen is PIU U.24, a partial skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Mt. Andersson, which is in a Smithian marine shale in the Kongressfjellet Formation of Svalbard and Jan Mayen. It is the type species of Peltostega.
