Laidleria gracilis
Taxonomy
Laidleria gracilis was named by Kitching (1957). Its type specimen is AM 4313, a partial skeleton (skull and anterior postcranial skeleton), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Elucwecwe, which is in an Anisian terrestrial sandstone in the Burgersdorp Formation of South Africa. It is the type species of Laidleria.
