Siderops kehli

Taxonomy
Siderops kehli was named by Warren and Hutchinson (1983). Its type specimen is QM F7882, a skeleton (Almost complete skull with mandible and attached postcranium), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kolane Station, west of Kennedy Peak, which is in a Pliensbachian/Toarcian lacustrine - small ironstone/sandstone in the Evergreen Formation of Australia. It is the type species of Siderops.
