Kannathalepis milleri
Taxonomy
Kannathalepis milleri was named by Marss and Gagnier (2001). Its type specimen is UALVP 44886, a dermal scale, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is BHI-2 at 28.5 m, which is in a Silurian carbonate lime mudstone/mudstone in the Cape Phillips Formation of Canada. It is the type species of Kannathalepis.
