Taxonomy
Haplolasma paraarciferum was named by Aretz (2011). It is not extant. Its type locality is Oued Oubarakat, ML 444, which is in a Serpukhovian shallow subtidal limestone/sandstone in the Assekaifaf Formation of Algeria.
