Anoualerpeton priscus
Taxonomy
Anoualerpeton priscus was named by Gardner et al. (2003). Its type specimen is BMNH R.16336 (= UCK 14), a partial skull (premaxilla), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kirtlington 3p (Mammal Bed), which is in a Bathonian mire/swamp marl in the Forest Marble Formation of the United Kingdom.
