Taxonomy
Ordosemys brinkmania was named by Danilov and Parham (2007). Its type specimen is IVPP V4074.4, a shell (shell in ventral aspect on a slab), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Wuerho, IVPP site 64041, which is in a Valanginian/Albian lacustrine mudstone/sandstone in the Lianmuqin Formation of China.
