Jiangxichelys ganzhouensis
Taxonomy
Jiangxichelys ganzhouensis was named by Tong and Mo (2010). Its type specimen is NHMG 010415 (Natural History Museum of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region), a shell (complete shell with articulated carapace and plastron), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Ganxian County development zone construction, which is in a Maastrichtian terrestrial mudstone in China. It is the type species of Jiangxichelys.
