Ardeosaurus digitatellus
Taxonomy
Homeosaurus digitatellus was named by Grier (1914). Its type specimen is CM 4026, a skeleton (partial skeleton including skull and parts of the postcranium preserved in dorsal view), and it is a compression fossil.
It was recombined as Eichstaettisaurus digitatellus by Cocude-Michel (1963); it was recombined as Ardeosaurus digitatellus by Hoffstetter (1964), Estes (1983).
