Taxonomy
Streptorhynchus (Schuchertella) praeceps was named by Reed (1944). Its type specimen is GSI 16786, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is NE side of Kawadh gorge, SE of Sathra, Salt Range, which is in a Wordian marine horizon in the Amb Formation of Pakistan.
