Taxonomy

Streptorhynchus (Schuchertella) asperulus was named by Reed (1944). Its type specimen is GSI 16785, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is ESE of Sathra, Salt Range, which is in a Wuchiapingian/Changhsingian marine horizon in the Chhidru Formation of Pakistan.
