Taxonomy
Paracentrus lebanonensis was named by Forey et al. (2003). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Nammoura quarry (BMNH collection), which is in a Cenomanian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal wackestone/mudstone in the Sannine Formation of Lebanon.
