Diagnosis
Reference | Diagnosis | |
---|---|---|
P. J. Bermúdez 1952 | discoidal shell, formed by a simple layer of simple chambers that rapidly increase in size as they are formed, which grow in irregularly rough, perforated series; opening formed by the pores in the wall of the chambers. Dimension: up to 1 mm - Tertiary - Recent.
The typical species of this genus is very poorly known. It is not known how the juvenile chambers are located, however it is possible that they are two chambers growing in a single plane. |
