Taxonomy
Exaesiodiscus compositus was named by Gluchowski (1993). Its type specimen is GIUS-4-10/ 1, a set of stem ossicles, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Sitkowka-Jaiwica, sets BC, Holy Cross Mountains, which is in a Frasnian/Frasnian reef, buildup or bioherm limestone in Poland.
