Afriquiamus nessovi
Taxonomy
Afriquiamus nessovi was named by Sigogneau-Russell (1999). Its type specimen is SA 84, a tooth (upper left molar), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Ksar Met-Lili, Anoual, which is in a Tithonian/Berriasian deltaic sandstone in the Ksar Metlili Formation of Morocco. It is the type species of Afriquiamus.
