Taxonomy
Priacmini was named by Crowson (1962). It is extant. Its type is Priacma.

It was reranked as the subfamily Priacminae by Bouchard et al. (2011), Cai et al. (2022).

It was assigned to Cupedinae by Soriano and Delclos (2006), Tan and Ren (2009); and to Cupedidae by Bouchard et al. (2011), Li et al. (2019), Cai et al. (2022).
