Dermotherium chimaera
Taxonomy
Dermotherium chimaera was named by Marivaux et al. (2006). Its type specimen is SHM-CP 363, a mandible (fragment of right mandible), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Cha Prong Pit, which is in an Oligocene terrestrial mudstone/lignite in Thailand.
