Amygdalocosta rara
Taxonomy
Amygdalocosta rara was named by Waterhouse (1967). Its type specimen is NZGS BR844 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is GS7358, Productus Creek (D44/f9876), which is in a Changhsingian marine limestone in the Wairaki Breccia Formation of New Zealand. It is the type species of Amygdalocosta.
