Taxonomy
Orthoceras punjabiense was named by Waagen (1879). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Khura, limit between Upper and Middle Productus-limestone, Salt Range, which is in a Wuchiapingian carbonate limestone in Pakistan.
