Hydrotherosaurus alexandrae
Taxonomy
Hydrotherosaurus alexandrae was named by Welles (1943). Its type specimen is UCMP 33912, a partial skeleton (fairly complete skeleton with a partly disarticulated skull), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Panoche Hills 5, UCMP V3735, which is in a Maastrichtian marine shale in the Moreno Formation of California.
