Taxonomy
Verbeekiella hechiensis was named by Xu (1977). Its type specimen is IV 38518 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Baitu, Hechi County, which is in a Wuchiapingian open shallow subtidal limestone in the Heshan Formation of China.
