Hauffiosaurus tomistomimus
Taxonomy
Hauffiosaurus tomistomimus was named by Benson et al. (2011). Its type specimen is MANCH LL 8004, a skeleton (an almost complete skeleton), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Ravenscar, which is in a Bifrons offshore shale in the Whitby Mudstone Formation of the United Kingdom.
