Oxalaia quilombensis
Taxonomy
Oxalaia quilombensis was named by Kellner et al. (2011). Its type specimen is MN 6117-V, a partial skull (Fused premaxillae), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Laje do Coringa, Ilha do Cajual, which is in a Cenomanian estuary/bay sandstone/conglomerate in the Alcântara Formation of Brazil.
It was synonymized subjectively with Spinosaurus aegyptiacus by Smyth et al. (2020).
