Colombophis spinosus
Taxonomy
Colombophis spinosus was named by Hsiou et al. (2010). Its type specimen is UFAC #8722; PV 2953, a set of vertebrae, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Talismã, upper Purus River, which is in a Tortonian fluvial-lacustrine mudstone/claystone in the Solimões Formation of Brazil.
