Umoonasaurus demoscyllus
Taxonomy
Umoonasaurus demoscyllus was named by Kear et al. (2006). Its type specimen is Australian Museum F99374, a partial skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Zorba Extension Opal Field, which is in an Aptian marine horizon in the Bulldog Shale Formation of Australia. It is the type species of Umoonasaurus.
