Callistomordax kugleri
Taxonomy
Callistomordax kugleri was named by Schoch (2008). Its type specimen is SMNS 82035, a skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Vellberg-Eschenau, which is in a Longobardian estuary/bay claystone in the Erfurt Formation of Germany. It is the type species of Callistomordax.
