Crepidula walshi was named by Reeve (1859). It is not a trace fossil.
It was recombined as Crepidula (Siphopatella) walchi by Oostingh (1935); it was recombined as Siphopatella walshi by Hayasaka (1962); it was recombined as Ergaea walshi by Okutaini (2000).
