Hexaprotodon sahabiensis
Taxonomy
Hexaprotodon sahabiensis was named by Gaziry (1987). Its type specimen is 404P34A, a mandible (mandible fragment with P/4-M/3), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Sahabi Fauna Locality P34A, which is in a Messinian terrestrial horizon in the Sahabi Formation of Libya.
