Taxonomy
Schafhaeutlia nebulosa was named by Kurushin (1992). Its type specimen is TsSGM 950/91, a shell (Conjoined shell), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Ulakhan-Krest Creek, Grambergia taimyrensis zone, Olenek River, which is in an Aegean marine horizon in the Russian Federation.
