Taxonomy
Paradroltus mitterndorfensis was named by O'Dogherty and Gawlick (2008). Its type locality is Teltschengraben, BMW 21, which is in a Pliensbachian basinal (carbonate) limestone/marl in the Dürrnberg Formation of Austria. It is the type species of Paradroltus.
