Placentidens lotus
Taxonomy
Placentidens lotus was named by Russell et al. (1973). Its type specimen is Louis-475 Mu, a tooth (Left M1), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is UCMP V6167, Mutigny quarry, which is in a Ypresian terrestrial horizon in the Lignites de Soissonais Formation of France. It is the type species of Placentidens.
