Holmiceras coreanicum
Taxonomy
Orthoceras coreanicum was named by Kobayashi (1927). It is not extant. Its type specimen is UMUT PM9 (lectotype), a shell. Its type locality is Makkol, which is in a Llanvirn marine shale/limestone in the Jigunsan Formation of South Korea.
It was recombined as Sigmorthoceras coreanicum by Kobayashi (1934); it was recombined as Holmiceras coreanicum by Yun (1999).
