Ugooloceras oblatum
Taxonomy
Ugooloceras oblatum was named by Evans (1996). It is not extant. Its type specimen is TCD.3682 to 3684 (3 fragments of 1 individual), a shell. Its type locality is Mweelrea Mountain, western slope, which is in a Llanvirn marginal marine sandstone/volcaniclastic in the Mweelrea Formation of Ireland. It is the type species of Ugooloceras.
