Taxonomy
Crassinella (Gouldia) minuta was named by Anderson (1928). Its type specimen is CAS 2723, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is El Carmen, 6 mi. SW of (Horizon F), which is in a Bartonian coastal shale/sandstone in Colombia.
It was recombined as Crassinella minuta by Clark and Durham (1946); it was recombined as Gouldia minuta by Hendy et al. (2008).
