Anadara (Grandiarca) usiacurii

Taxonomy

Arca (Anadara) usiacurii was named by Anderson (1929). Its type specimen is CAS 4158, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is CAS Loc. 306, Usiacuri village [Tuberá Fm], which is in a Pliocene marine siliciclastic in the Tubará Formation of Colombia.

It was recombined as Anadara (Grandiarca) usiacurii by Hendy et al. (2008).
