Taxonomy
Edmondia rotunda was named by Beede (1907). It is a mold. Its type locality is Whitehorse Spring (Kansas coll), which is in a Capitanian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal sandstone in the Whitehorse Formation of Oklahoma.
